African American Designers Walnut Coaster Set

The contributions of African American designers to fashion have long gone unheralded, undervalued and largely unsung. Although their creative input have ignited entire fashion movements. Here we meet a mere six of these pioneers, including Anne Lowe, Art Smith, Zelda Wynn Valdes, Jay Jaxson, Elizabeth Hobbs Keckley and Arthur McGee. Each set of these comes complete with a synopsis of their accomplishments so that their additions to the fashion world and their names stay within the conversations of the greats.

These are a walnut base, that are handmade to their specifications. They are all hand done from the cutting to the painting to the staining, the branding, the cutting of the image, the pouring of the resin, heating and curing.  In total they take a week from start to finish.

They are made with love and the thought of how much you'll enjoy them.

With that, please realize that like all handmade items, by nature, have imperfections. Although I am very thorough, there are inconsistencies based on the coasters creative nature. These are are studio produced and our process is genuine and full of love and care. Do you remember the handmade items your grandma used to make? Ours products echo those quaint little handmade differences.
