Rent Party Cards Walnut Coaster Set

Back in the day, when folks was out of pocket and needed a lil' help on the rent, somebody might throw them a Rent Party. All the party people would have a good 'ole time with some good food, some good drink, and some good music. Admission would be collected and go to the family in need. In the 1920's it would cost you as little as a quarter, but keeping your apartment was priceless.

This is the first product I developed for the brand as todays' rents here in Harlem can be astounding. So in thinking of a product that would fit well in the home I started with coasters. This set features 6 invitations that are found in the illustrious Mr. Langston Hughes' estate.

These are a walnut base, that are handmade to their specifications. They are all hand done from the cutting to the painting to the staining, the branding, the cutting of the image, the pouring of the resin, heating and curing.  In total they take a week from start to finish.

They are made with love and the thought of how much you'll enjoy them.

With that, please realize that like all handmade items, by nature, have imperfections. Although I am very thorough, there are inconsistencies based on the coasters creative nature. These are are studio produced and our process is genuine and full of love and care. Do you remember the handmade items your grandma used to make? Ours products echo those quaint little handmade differences.
